The last day of 2007 brings change to Saphrym.com. Today I change the format of the Diet Diary posts in more way than one. First of all, since I skipped a diet entry yesterday I’m going to take advantage of that. From this point on the diet diary will consist of the exercise and food of the day before and the numbers of today.
Here’s why: Before, I’d give you my morning numbers of weight and blood sugar and then the stuff I ate and exercise I did throughout the rest of that day. The problem was, the numbers did not correlate with the food and exercise because those happened AFTER the numbers. So now, with the numbers being from the day of the post and the food and exercise from the day before then you will see how the food and exercise effected the numbers. I think it makes much more sense that way. It also makes it fit my schedule better because now I’ll be able to do these posts in the morning until waiting until after I’ve eaten every meal to do them. Since my daughter will be in school, this gives me more time to spend with her.
As for the other change, scroll down past the diet diary and you can see it for yourself. That’s right, it’s my first ever video diet diary. If this one gets enough good feedback, I’ll do more.
As for the 1/2 of Slim-Fast bars today, I wanted to cut back some on my sodium intake. That’s the only reason.

One was titled “Why We Want to Kill You.” It was written by an ex-terrorist by the name of Walid Shoebat. It tells of the true nature of the Islamic fundamentalists. It is a great book to understand the mind of terrorists being as the author was of the rare breed of a reformed terrorist himself. Very honest and open.
Another was “Understanding Iraq” written by William Polk. This was a complete history of Iraq with detailed information on not only the geography of the land and shifts in borders, but also history of famous leaders such as Genghis Khan.

Guess what? While working on the site all day (Decided some back end stuff needed to be done. Get your minds out of the gutter.), I completely forgot to… wait for it… EAT! I had one meal and then just had one other meal. I’m supposed to eat 5 times. Oops. I’m supposed to make sure I get my water 5 times. Oops. Now, can you imagine someone who used to be 355 pounds saying he forgot to eat? Well, other than twice, I did.
