(The Daily Read is a series of blog posts written on posts that have been found throughout the Entrecard blogosphere. If you’re interested in having your own post listed here, send me a link to that post THROUGH ENTRECARD. You can do so by clicking on the “E” on the Entrecard widget to your right. I will take a look and respond to let you know if it will be featured here.)
Heart health, Windows Vista, Photos, and a strong witty woman. That’s what is in store for you tonight. As always, make sure to share the posts these people worked. If you like them, share them. If you want more, subscribe. Hope you enjoy!
- All ‘dark’ chocolate not good for the heart - I Love My Heart - What I’m trying to do for diabetes and weight health, this blog does for heart health. A while back I mentioned how dark chocolate can be a healthy treat. Well, seems not all dark chocolate is the same. Go read to see what I mean. Bijoy does a great job!
- Twitter with Friends Using the WPF Client Witty - Windows Vista Guide - I use Vista and I use Twitter. I’ve never used Witty. But I will now. Great review! Also, this site is extremely valuable for all Windows Vista users. Keep up to date on tons of great stuff specifically for Windows Vista.
- Shopping - Juha Ylitalo Photography - All I can say is wow! The photographs Juha takes and shares are gorgeous. This particular one is of some people shopping, but the framing of the picture is fantastic and makes a very good piece. Go check it out!
- Munich in December 2007 - Homesick for abroad - Herby, Herby, Herby. That’s such an awesome name. Gotta love it. And you have to love yet more beautiful pictures. Guess I’m just in the mood for photos tonight. These are absolutely brilliant!
- I Want Him Drafted - Sue Doe-Nim - “This is what happens when Sue Doe marries John Nim.” I absolutely LOVE that tag line. This wouldn’t be a Daily read without some humor. However, be forewarned that this humor can be kind of dark. There’s biting sarcasm, anger filled-rants, and much more emotions. All from a woman named Sue. This particular post is very political and made me very happy.

Hello Michael,
After exchanging card drops from Entrecard, I finally noticed that you have a listen now text reader. How interesting! This is the first time I’ve come across it on a blog.
I tried to search “text reader” in your blog but it came up empty.
Can you explain your rational for putting it? Is it for accessibility issues? Any noticeable benefits?

I placed it for accessibility and just for ease of use. Imagine you’re reading a post where I managed to get a little too long winded but you really need to go do something else real quick. Press that button and you can hear it. But another cool concept is that it’s also a podcast feed and therefore people can subscribe to it. Gives a little extra exposure.
