@Turnip: Turnip, I just have to say, I know what you mean about the slimy underbelly of education. It's one of the reasons I'm seriously debating if I want to go get my masters and become a licensed teacher (my original college goal) or just find other ways to inspire and teach children. It's all so institutionalized, there's no time for letting kids be creative or expressing their individuality, and even the teachers have cliques. It goes against everything I was taught in my teaching and child development classes at the BA level. But I have hope because I'm going to start my own utopian colony on the moon, and our schools are going to churn out super-human-neo-Da-Vinci graduates. Viva la moderne renaissance! I know the feeling. I barely get involved in socializing with my fellow bloggers (or anyone else online) lately because I just don't have time. But today, I actually turned on my computer and thought, I wonder what Saph is doing these days (isn't it weird to know that random people in the world think of you at random times) and decided to check out your blog. So here I am. Awesome that you are finishing up that Masters Degree. I'd send you a real "congratulations on your graduation" Hallmark card, but I can't remember how to use the post office anymore. (There's no "send" button to click on the mailbox.) So I'll just send you a big virtual hug. I'll be sure to check out the new blog after this one slips away. I like reading what you write. @Turnip: I won’t be doing the diet posts anymore. I never really liked doing them. However, I will still be doing anecdotes. Just hopefully they will read better than some of my previous stuff. And I agree about the money making. CMF will allow me to make a FEW bucks, right?

Saph: We haven't forgotten about you. Making money through blogs should never be a goal in life. If you can make a few dollars, go for it. But follow what is in your heart so that you can look back in pride. My favorite posts? I confess I like the diet posts and other posts from your personal life. As a former educator, I hate education related posts. Things change when you see the slimey underbelly of education in America. Hopefully you never see it, and keep your idealism.
