Ok. I can’t help it. I have to put this recipe up here because I’ve known it for years and love it1. However, I haven’t eaten any since I started dieting because each cookie is about 150 calories. I’ll provide a nutrient card below the recipe.2 But this recipe is for you skinny people who stay skinny no matter what you eat.3
Ingredients:
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients in a big bowl until they turn into a huge brown ball.
- Split the ball into about 16-20 smaller balls.
- Smash those balls with a fork in two different directions4 on a cookie pan.
- Bake for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown.
That’s it. You’re done. Now for the bad news:

That’s for one cookie if you make 16. Ouch. But they are sooooo good.
- They are excellent cookies. I’d almost go looking for mortgage lenders just to buy a shop to sell these cookies. Ok. I’m exaggerating. But still. [«]
- Gotta love Diet Power.
[«] - I envy you tremendously. You know who you are! [«]
- to give it that peanut-butter-cookie look. [«]

Ohmygosh!
I remember making these, about ten years ago!
I loved it because there were only three ingredients.
They are soooo yummy.

@Janna: Yep. Very tasty. Not good for dieters though. (And thinking on the past, I understand now why I weighed as much as I did. I used to make these and eat every single cookie in one sitting. Thinking about it now makes me wonder why I wasn’t as big as a house back then.)

That’s the first time I’ve ever seen that recipe. What? No flour, vanilla extract, etc? Hmmm…I may have to try these.

@Ruthie: Nope. None of the other stuff. Just those three ingredients. It’s quite awesome!

Well…I just want to thank you for ruining my diet this week. My brother loves to cook, and I gave him the recipe last night. Well…today he brought some over for the kids, and of course, I just had to try one…and then a second…and then a third…well, you see where this is going.
So thanks a lot!
But still can’t believe it’s only those 3 ingredients. They actually taste like they have flour in them. Weird, huh?

@Ruthie: You’re welcome!
Yeah, it is weird. I find them to taste even better than normal peanut butter cookies. And the great thing is you can vary them easily by throwing in chocolate chips or even using chunky style peanut butter to get the peanuts in there.
