I Bought a New Scale

ScaleI got tired of having this darn plateau and all the other ones before it. I know I’m gaining muscle, I can feel it. I also know I sometimes have a little much sodium and retain too much water. But I had no way of proving it. Until now.

I bought a scale that gives me my weight, my fat percentage, my water percentage, and my muscle percentage. So, after today’s numbers form this morning, I will be sharing those numbers with you also so we can both figure out the reason my weight is what it is.

Oh, and I also went shopping for a few other things related to exercise: pedometer, grip strength enhancers (the little springs with handles that you squeeze), a pilates ball for my wife (so she can continue her back therapy at home when the 8 weeks is up at the physical therapist), and some of this came with workout videos. So I’ll be letting you know how this stuff works out over the coming weeks.

There is not going to be a video diary tonight. I’ve decided not to overrun YouTube with my ugly mug, so I’ll be posting those on Monday nights from now on.
