Are packaged goods bad for you? Well, the answer is yes and no. Even natural foods can be bad for you if you’re not careful about eating them. Imagine eating 10 apples in a sitting. Not so good. What you have to do is make sure you READ the packages. I actually tend to like packaged foods better when dieting because it’s much easier to find out how many calories, carbs, etc. that you’re eating.
A lot of people don’t diet because they don’t like doing all of the math and think that packaged foods are too bad for you to use. Some people like to claim that all of those hard to pronounce words on the ingredient lists are bad for you. Sure, you can end up eating some pretty toxic stuff if you’re not careful. But half of the “ingredients” in natural foods are hard to pronounce too. Doesn’t make them bad for you.
Just be careful what you buy. Read the packages carefully and use the fact that the contents, calories, carbs etc. are listed to make sure you keep eating right. Dieting does not have to require a degree in calculus.

We hear so many conflicting things about our health and eating right, etc.
I think this is th most reasonable thing I’ve EVER read on the topic.
I guess some authors get paid by the word…
Thanks for the post!
