Sugar-Free Peanut Brittle, Milk, and A Missed Meal

Idecided to drink some milk today. I really wanted some and since the pounds have been dropping, I had some with some peanut butter sandwiches. This still gave me plenty of protein. Also, I was missing a meal today because of scheduling problems. But my numbers just keep getting better.

Ruth Hunt Peanut BrittleHowever, I tried some Sugar-Free Peanut Brittle today. A place called Ruth Hunt Candies in Mount Sterling, KY makes this stuff. It was actually quite good. But I know it is sweetened by Lycosin. Since I took my blood sugar after eating the brittle instead of before (hey, I was hungry, and that was better than the only other thing they had: regular candy) it was a little high.

My meals were out of order and different today, so make sure to pay attention to the diet diary below. As always, we’ll see how bad it effects me with tomorrow’s numbers.
