(The Daily Read is a series of blog posts written on posts that have been found throughout the Entrecard blogosphere. If you’re interested in having your own post listed here, send me a link to that post THROUGH ENTRECARD. You can do so by clicking on the “E” on the Entrecard widget to your right. I will take a look and respond to let you know if it will be featured here. As you’re reading, make sure that if you like the sites you see, that you share them with friends, subscribe to them, etc. There’s never anything wrong with giving good content extra traffic.)
Blog About Your Blog
Blog About Your Blog is a blog written by almost 30 other bloggers. Because of this, it has a very random nature about it. However, this works for the site. There’s always good tips, contests, etc. going on at the site. So let’s take a look at some of the good stuff.
Content
You may have noticed that I like blog entries that point out great WordPress plugins. The post, 6 New Wordpress Plugins You Haven’t Seen, does exactly that. I use most of these already, but I don’t know if everyone else does. I especially like OneClick Install for plugins. Since I’m a plugin junkie, it helps out a lot. 10 Quick Blogging Tips may be a quick post, but the tips there are spot on. This is basic stuff that every blogger should know if they want their blogs to be successful. I wish I had read 6 Tips for Hosting a Blogging Contest before I started my own contests here. It would have come in handy to know that information. Always do your research before putting your money on the line. 5 Ways to Get More Comments and Make You Smile is an excellent post about how to engage your readers.
Design
The blog has a very simple design with only 2 columns and a predominant logo. This makes it rather simple to navigate (although I think their “popular posts” widget should be a little higher up the sidebar). Actually, the logo is one of my favorite parts of the design. I’ve gotten to know it well, and I love the drawing.
Use of Ads
There’s a few ads scattered on the sidebar and some Google ads among the posts, but they work just fine and don’t overwhelm the reader.
Placement of Entrecard Widget
This one is pretty low. You’ll have to scroll quite a bit to get to it. However, it IS right below their Most Popular posts widget, so while you’re scrolling, go check those out.
Conclusion
A blog for bloggers by bloggers. Simple. Informative. To the point.

This is a great idea and service you are offering. I am sending you a link to my blog / post. My site has quite a bit of information about personal health, but judging by reading some of your diet diary posts, you are doing great in that area. Congratulations and good luck on the final approach!
