Yeah. I know. Giggling at yourself is not exactly a manly thing to do, but come on! I was sitting there trying to design a new avatar to use at a specific website since I was in one of my “creative” moments. I decided to go grab a silly character I drew a long time ago using only Photoshop. He used to be a logo character for a commercial website I ran a few years ago. I still had a hard time deciding exactly what to do with him.

So, I decided to go look for some pictures that could be used as a backdrop. I happened to notice the “easy” button… you must’ve seen it on T.V. It’s been in many Staples commercials. Didn’t really click with me until later when I saw a nuclear bomb backdrop. Then it just happened. Things started sprouting in my head and the giggling began. I just couldn’t help myself. The giggling continued as I worked on the graphic. It’s just one of those thigns where you’d have to be there to understand.

To the left is what sprouted out of my head. I giggled at myself and set about to do it. I know it’s not the best artwork or even the best joke, but when it popped in my head, I just couldn’t help but giggle again.

So there’s my advice for the day: Giggle at yourself!

It may not be a “manly” thing to do, but it’s a human thing to do. Get in touch with your humanity. Giggle. Laugh. Snort. You’ll be glad you did.
