Random Rewards Vol. 4: Saphrym Merchandise Update

Filed under Thinker | Posted by Saphrym

Seems like t-shirts are the sure winner in this particular case. I was surprised to find that the marketing pens were a close second (under “not interested” of course). I’ll have some designs up for you guys and gals to look at probably next week.

So how is this post a Random Reward? Well, I’m going to pick a random commenter on this post to receive a free t-shirt when it comes out. Also, that same person will get $5.00 through PayPal immediately (for instant satisfaction and just in case the merchandise falls through, I want you to get something). I’d like to request that your comment include one of the following items:

1. An idea for a feasible product that is not “normally” branded that would work well in the blogging world.
2. Useful suggestions/ideas for the merchandise.

The drawing will be when I write my next post, which will be the Saturday Update. Hopefully I’ll have some website news for you then too. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, and for those of you waiting on the continuation of the Katrina story, I have it planned for Sunday and it will include a silly little comic strip I created.

I don’t think there’s a product out there that hasn’t been slapped with a logo and used as a marketing tool. I’ve seen some of the weirdest stuff… who needs underwear with a company’s logo on it, eh?

Mousepads might be a good idea. Most people with computers use them. I’m a huge fan of magnets (just as my refrigerator). Notepads? Notecards? Ooooh, flash drives with your picture on them! Keychains.

I’m looking forward to your Katrina update, your other post on it was quite interesting (I read one, hope I didn’t miss another in the series)….do you still live down there or did you have to relocate?

I haven’t been here in a while. I need to get back to using my RSS reader again so I can get to the blogs I enjoy reading.

I always like to keep a small notebook near me when I’m online to jot down information, blog ideas, passwords, etc. What about putting your logo on a notebook and market it for those reasons?

Another random reward by the great Saphrym! A feasible uncommon thing to brand eh? Hmm… Try something like mobile phone casings or maybe flash drives or even a paper weight. It must be something that’s used almost everyday and very useful too. =)

How about printing any blog of the winners choice on toilet paper. That way they could use the product in one of 2 ways. Positively by reading something good, or negatively by putting the offending blog to proper use.

I think everyone likes t-shirts. I would have voted for a doll myself.. Alas one was not offered. When I very first got on the internet, Back when I was upset because someone called me a newbie.. I was informed in a chat room that I was boring as were all newbies and I should serch for free t-shirts instead of chatting. I spent three days and nights sending in E-mails for every free shirt they had listed anywhere on the computer. That Christmas I gave away over 500 free T-shirts. I tried to find some a few weeks ago thinking Most every one might have worn out the last ones. I found three. I’m thinking free stuff is getting hard to find. I still say a saphryn doll would be super cool. Your own mini-me. You should look into that.
I love pens. I can never keep up with them but I like them and I hate writing with a naked pen. You know those that have nothing written on them . Hmm I reckon I like everyhting you had listed. I know what ever you design though you will do great at it. Have a good day!

I’m liking flash drive. And Turnip, you made me spit out my water. Sheesh. ;)

Patricia, a Saphrym doll would be interesting. Disturbing, but interesting. ;)

I would like anything that plugs into a USB port and has lights and is shiny. (I like shiny things!)

    I like Turnip’s idea, and I like T-shirts.
I have a Turnip T-shirt, it would be cool to have a Saphrym t-shirt. Then I’d have the start of a collection.

    Love the latest EC ad!
