I’ve been designing t-shirts and hats for people for a few years now. I even designed a few for myself. One I designed was the “One Button” shirt that went with the parody/satire post I did. Another was the FaxMeBeer.com design, but of course that site still hasn’t launched. The shirts are on CafePress though. But I figure it’s about time to design some merchandise for my own site in general. What I want to know is would you guys and gals be interested in Saphrym based merchandise? Things like t-shirts, hats, promotional pens, etc. If there is significant interest, I’ll look into designing some and getting them available as giveaways and for purchase. I’ve included a poll so you can vote on which items you’d be interested. You can choose more than one:
If there is interest, I’ll create a few designs and let you guys pick them later. May be a couple of weeks. Right now, I want to know if the interest is there.

Making a profit on t-shirts is tough. The break even point of selling them online is about $10 because of shipping costs. Obviously if you sell hundreds that drops, but look at what places like shirt.woot and uneetee charge. They make great promo items, and everyone loves a free shirt. Just expect to have a big box of items sitting around the house for a while.
On the other hand, I love my turnip of power t-shirts and don’t regret buying/selling them.

I voted “Not interested”. There’s only so many applicable opportunities to wear a huge cartoon head on your person.

@Quwen - Actually, I plan on designs that only use the log as a brand. I’ve got some ideas. But I completely understand where you’re coming from. As I said, this is only to determine interest.
@Stan - I wish!
@Turnip - Thanks for the info.
This is still just an idea.
